Prayer is a beautiful way to ask for Our Lord’s help and blessings. Even when God doesn’t answer our prayers as we’d like, He gives us the grace to cope with our problems and tragedies.
Prayer is a way of life, a way to move through life with peace in our hearts. Prayer is a tool which we can use to build our awareness of God within and to bring ourselves closer to God. And it is this awareness of God's presence that keeps us poised and centred in times of challenge. Your requests become much more powerful when others are praying for you too. Also, it is a divine form of charity to pray for others, especially for those most in need!
Our Lord said “Ask, and you shall receive” (John 16:24).
“Pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16)
