HGUH Catholic Internet Radio will be based at St John's Seminary, Wonersh, near Guildford. It will start broadcasting in the Spring.

We need a lot of programmes to fill our air time – it’s no mean task producing them and running a radio.  So please help us in this project.  We need volunteers :

●        Technical people to run the station itself and handle the ‘techie’ side, including broadcasting and editing the programmes

●        Website gurus – vital to keep the website up-to-date and cool

●        Social media stars to get our message out on twitter and Facebook etc and to get us noticed        

●        Producers, programme makers, script writers, broadcasters, actors and musicians 

●        Administrators to keep everything on-time, on-course and swinging

●        Fund-raisers and people to apply for grants

●        A Treasurer and a legal boffin

●        You could even help whilst sitting in the comfort of your own home – we need lots of people to listen to new programmes or CDs or even read a book to ensure their suitability for broadcasting.

As the radio is broadcast over the internet many of these jobs can be done from home – so you don’t need to live near Guildford to get involved. 

Here is a list of the programmes we are hoping will be produced for 2012. They involve Catholic organisations throughout the UK, so there could be an opportunity on your own doorstep – so do step up and get involved in this exciting new development in Catholic communications!  This is the radio voice of Catholic congregations throughout the UK, so come and help make it reach out to the whole community.  It is a major step forward to improve communications in the Church.
